Custom Printed Paper Bags in the UAE — Your Size, Your Colours, Made in Dubai

Updated 4 August 2026·By the Paper Bag UAE manufacturing team

How to brief, proof and reorder a fully custom printed paper bag without paying for mistakes you only discover after the run.

TL;DR
A custom printed paper bag is defined by five decisions: stock and GSM, print method, lamination or coating, finishing, and handle type. Get those five right in the brief and the rest is production. Digital from 500 units, offset from 2,000, printed proofs before every first run, and archived dies so reorders match.

Every bag we make is custom, so the useful question is not whether you can customise it — it is which five decisions actually change the outcome. Here they are, in the order we ask them.

1. Stock and GSM

Coated art paper takes photographic print and lamination beautifully. Kraft gives you natural texture and an unmistakably sustainable read; see kraft paper bags. Weight follows load: 150–170 GSM for light retail, 190–210 GSM for boutique, 230–250 GSM for luxury and foil work.

2. Print method

Offset for exact Pantone matching and volume economics above 2,000 units. Digital for 250–2,000 units, multi-version artwork and same-week turnaround. Tell us your quantity and your colour tolerance and we will tell you which press serves you better — including when the cheaper option is the right one.

3. Lamination or coating

Matte film for luxury, gloss film for photography and food, compostable film or water-based soft-touch coating where recyclability leads. The trade-offs are laid out in the laminated paper bags guide.

4. Finishing

Hot foil stamping, spot UV, embossing and debossing each add a pass, a die and a cost — and each is what separates a printed bag from a branded object. One well-placed foil logo outperforms three printed effects almost every time.

5. Handles

Twisted paper for volume retail, cotton tape for comfort under load, rope for luxury, ribbon for gifting and fragrance, die-cut for a clean recyclable build.

Artwork requirements

  • Vector logo files (AI, EPS or PDF), not screenshots
  • 300 DPI minimum for any photographic element
  • CMYK plus specified Pantone codes for brand colours
  • 3 mm bleed and text kept 5 mm inside trim
  • Artwork placed on the dieline we send you, so panels land where you expect

No print-ready artwork? Our studio builds it from your logo and brand guidelines. Examples of finished work are in the portfolio.

Proofing, production and reorders

We issue a digital proof, then a printed proof on your actual stock for first runs and any colour-critical job. After approval, production takes 10–14 working days. Artwork, ink recipes and dies are archived, so reorders run in 7–10 working days and match the original.
