Packaging Quality Control Standards We Use

4 September 2025·4 min read·By the Paper Bag UAE manufacturing team

How we structure quality control from stock inspection through final delivery.

Quality control on packaging happens at four stages: incoming stock, in-press, in-finishing, and final inspection. Each has specific checks.

Incoming stock

Paper batch tested for gsm consistency, brightness, and color. Batches that fail get returned to the mill.

In-press color check

Every 500th sheet pulled and measured against Pantone reference. Adjustments made in real-time.

In-finishing check

Foil, emboss and lamination sampled for registration, density, and adhesion.

Final inspection

Random sampling before dispatch. AQL 2.5 standard for retail; AQL 1.0 for luxury.
