Metallic paper stocks read as celebratory. Used well, they carry festivity, luxury and a specific gift-moment cue. Used badly, they read cheap.
When they work
Ramadan, Eid, National Day and DSF limited editions. Cosmetics and perfume launches. Awards and hospitality gift boxes.
Silver, gold, rose, bronze
Gold reads celebratory and Emirati; silver reads modern and cosmetic; rose gold and bronze read soft-luxury.
Print on metallic stocks
Ink sits on top of the metallized coating — colors take on a warm shimmer. Screen print with opaque white as a base unlocks full CMYK reproduction.
Where not to use
Everyday retail, food packaging, sustainable brands. Metallic finishes are not recyclable-friendly. See eco-friendly packaging as the alternative.
